IZA/DFID Short Course on Programme Evaluation, Oct. 29-30, 2016, Lusaka


The IZA/DFID Short Course on Programme Evaluation will take place on October, 29th-30th. The course is designed for postgraduate students, faculty members, and researchers in governement and non-government institutions who would like to develop their skills in programm evaluation using the latest econometric methods.

The course will consist of four half-day sessions and will cover the following topics:

design and analysis of randomised controlled trials

propensity score matching methods

difference-in-difference estimators

regression discontinuity designs

The focus will be lay on application of these methods for the evalutation of labour market related programmes, including skills training programmes.
